you know those crazy comic anthologies with so much backstory gracefully implied in between the panels that you know that the universe is completely, utterly realized by the artist, but the artist only exposed just enough of the universe he created to deliver an excellent plot and develop the wonderful characters in the story arcs

and the amazing thing is that those universes tend to get fleshed out further in those gorgeous coffee table art books, yeah?

womencut-up sketchbook content, all organized by character or by project concepts. It's glorious~
