This is probably the oldest colored image of any kind of fursona related to myself.

This is Brandon Stitch, depicted in an image created in 2005. Brandon Stitch was the result of what was, at the time, my very deep involvement in the Lilo and Stitch fandom, and desire to have a character of my own.

While he isn't very original (Just Stitch with my hair), I can definitely call him the beginning of what would eventually lead me to becoming a part of the Furry Fandom. Eventually this character would evolve, years later, into "Experiment 720 - Sky".

Lilo and Stitch was my first real fandom. I discovered the movie at a time in my life when my family was breaking apart, and as a result the movie had a profound impact on me. From 2002-2004, I progressively made more and more friends who were fans of the movie and TV series, helped organize several meets of L&S fans, and finally held a gathering at Disney World to celebrate the opening of Stitch's Great Escape.

It was a meet on a grand scale, with people coming from around the country and even as far as Sweden to attend. At the time, I knew nothing about conventions, but had we kept going, perhaps a con would have been the next logical step.

The friends I made during that time period have largely drifted away. But the memories and the influence that time period had on my life remains. I want to honor it by sharing some of these early characters here on my new Weasyl gallery. :)
