This is the finished product of my Flamecaller design! I wanted to draw her as close to the original Flamecaller picture neondragon posted as possible, so I tried to emanate neondragon's style--but this is my original artwork. The design of the dragon is what belongs to neondragon/Flight Rising 8)

That aside, Flamecaller is made from acrylic shrinky-dink paper! My new roommate   leelee has been an absolute beaux helping me expand my horizons on crafts and products, and the shrinky-dink gig is one I'm coming to love! Although cutting Flamecaller out with all her INSANE detail was positively mind-breaking, and I'm glad it's over and done with!

I am considering making more of these for other elements, though first I want to get the go-ahead from FR itself on whether or not they'd allow fans to make and sell fan-made FR-related merchandise. Unfortunately, though, I won't be able to go to FA U this year like we were planning. Their tables are all sold out 8( One of my housemates has also told me some horror stories about the last time they went to a con and got a free artist alley table too, so Leelee's pretty set against those. Since we can't get a dealer table, we won't be going 8(

Oh well. Maybe next year!
