An early work painted for my first show at Anthrocon, in 2011.
This is the work I am most proud of from that year. I wanted to depict the experience of watching cartoons from the perspective of someone on the cusp of adolescence.
The viewers are bathed in the blue light of television, taking on the identity of the animal that suits them best. All the while surrounded by implications of future proclivities, represented by the balloon-like animal bottoms that fill the background.
