I know, I know! Sylveon is a Fairy-type Pokémon, not a (Normal/)Flying type! In my defense this info was not yet released when I drew this, which was yesterday and this morning, AND Fairy still fits 'wind' pretty well. Especially considering the next best option is Jolteon, which isn't very 'wind'-like at all, just air/sky-ish.

Anyway, yes this is totally a reference to Captain Planet, a show I have never even seen but my boyfriend has and occasionally brings it up. Especially when I'm watching Avatar: The Last Airbender / The Legend of Korra. Might do Pokémon version of that too with anthro-Pokémon-thingies (what do they call those these days, Pokémorphs? Poké-somethings?)

Anyway, enjoy it as it is. And don't tell me I forgot Flareon's mane, that was totally intentional. (Liar, liar, pants on fire! Aha!)
