I’ve been alternating between those and chalk markers lately. Chalk markers have come in pretty handy for white lines on things gel pens get cranky on (colored pencil, for example). :)
I also found the best silver pen in the universe! XD

Ooo, i have some chalk markers I really need to try out.
OH! I used to have a silver paint marker that was stunning but it ran out of ink and I can't seem to find them anymore. D: Which do you have?

Chalk markers are super-wonderful and very versatile. It's mostly, make sure the work is protected afterwards..........it is "chalk" after all and rubbing it too much will smooth it away. But they will work on ANYTHING. So, while gel pens can get finicky with colored pencils--chalk markers work amazingly with them. And you can get various tips nowadays, too (and colors). :)
I'll look and see if I can find the specific brand type silver pen I got, but it's got "Liquid Chrome" on the barrel. But it's fantastic--it's the shiniest silver marker I've ever seen. Supposedly there's a gold version too, but I haven't been able to find that one yet. XD

Me too! I see a lot of amazing art with them as well. I've got a few different packs on a list but haven't managed to grab them yet. One day~ :3 Will be a fun experiment.
I hope so too! It looks almost exactly like the kind I had before so even if i have to order it from out of country I will X'D
