Another one for the done list!
This is the first part of a diptych I’m working on not only for myself but for a show coming up this year. While there isn’t a set theme for it, I am aiming for most of the pieces I have to be displayed to be personal, raw, and above all else - from the soul.
Each creature shown is one that compromises the light half of my being, male and female and agender, and good. The other half you can see here is the opposites on every level of the word but also the forces that create harmony. Pictured above from the top are Adraya the yali, Itarah the Indian Temple Cat, Derja the centicore, and Ravi the cobra with a mala made of holy seeds and the lotus.
