Made the background a dark grey so that he stands out a bit more. Again, the forward facing view is older, as if the paint style didn't do enough to indicate that. I did that one about a year ago and upon painting in his backside, I realized I've since developed a different way of doing things. I personally prefer my new approach as it's quicker and makes his fur look appropriately thicker. Old technique was more time consuming and I forget the settings for the brush I used, hence why both front and back versions look slightly different. I tried my best to unify them by going over the front view again but I'm really not in the mood to completely redo his front view though I will no doubt do it again later as I always do with these characters.

Also for some reason the old file for Asher is bigger than the others. I'm not sure how that happened. Anyway, these refs were mostly made for my own use, hence why I really slacked off on some parts in them. I mostly just did Asher up to complete the set even if his design hasn't changed much at all in the past year. I am still trying to figure out how to draw his features as his face and ears are pretty unique compared to Hayden or Autumn and display the most amount of change going from human to monster. (Ears are much longer, nose is super pointed.) He looks more like a domesticated dog rather than a wolf and I am okay with that. lol

I think from now on I'm going to incorporate a light source into everything I do. Was tempted to have a more definitive one for Asher here but then I'd feel like I'd have to go back and do it for Hayden and Autumn as well.
