A particularly adorable monster inspired by an insect or arachnid.

The mandibuddy is a large, ant-like creature measuring about 8 feet long with a colossal pair of jaws. Able to lift objects weighing up to 10 tons with relative ease and armed with a powerful set of mandibles, the mandibuddy is a formidable foe for anyone who gets on its bad side. However the mandibuddy is generally a docile and highly social creature, not attacking unless provoked by someone threatening another member of its colony. Mandibuddies that have strayed far from their nests will frequently form bonds with humans and other animals, helping its newfound colony lift heavy objects, bringing them food, and protecting them from potential danger.
