Something for fun. It's Gintaro from the anime Gingitsune. Started watching it on Crunchyroll and it's a feel good type anime. Anyhoo, like the fox's design so I decided to do up a pic!

Yeah, the robe makes it look like that XD since he's laying and bending a little forward, I tried to show the slack/fold/bulge that the loose upper robe would do. Didn't mean to make him a fatty XD

It works either way really! Y'know, I liked the show but I get the feeling that there was a -lot- of content that was never covered, like they ended the series way too soon. Just a feeling really.

I'm not 100 percent on it, but there's been no announcement for another series, or any further episodes. I'm gonna hazard that it's ratings just weren't high enough to merit more work from the studio. I couldn't say for certain, just that there's not nearly as much buzz around Ginjitsune as there is, say Kill la Kill or Attack on Titan.

The anime series was purposely made short (12 episodes). The original manga it was based on is still ongoing. This is a typical pattern for many Japanese comics turned to animated shows without being committed to following the book entirely and often having to find an end point or create a new ending in place (MTV's The Maxx is a good example there I suppose for an American equivalent).
