      Thanks, Mr.! I'm glad the minimal bg's worked out; they served the dual purpose of giving the page room to breath contrast to the super dense panels and also saving me time~

    Oh goodness ~ still wish i had a backlight thing :> would make things so much easier!~ do you use a ruler by chance? Out of curiousity. o.o all i've got is a stupid meter stick! D:

      For real media I use rulers, but this is digital so basically shift-key is my ruler. I use a program called Manga Studio for digital lines.

        Ooooh Digital stuff ~ i cant do digital x.x If i cant see it infront of my fingers... i cant "Do" it ~ it comes out all junky... i have to Look where im going as opposed to have my fingers draw blind you know? :P So much easier to "doodle" what you can see infront of you. at least thats my take on it n.n ~ so if i had a tablet with a screen it would be easier for me :>

          o absolutely. I identify 100%. Truth told I'm only just NOW getting adjusted to working digitally and that's only after I bought a Yiynova tablet monitor (half the price of the much lauded wacom cintiq). With a tablet monitor one can lay down lines as if it were on paper; Combine that with a good line art program and I finally feel at ease with crafting digital line art.

            However, i've never done comissions before. I just want to practice my guys for now you know what i mean? :P

            I havent a clue how to get all that money for something like that, maybe i'll invest my tax refund in one :B since i keep running out of paper! which is so very inconvenient. D:
