Christmas Aftermath

Taross

So, in an alternate universe due to shenanigans... A Science Universe where Shenanigans often happen, it has been established that the version of Taross that lives there has ended up a Deity of sorts. Now, shi had only a very specific charge; namely the little science-evolved arctic merlizards and I suppose shi did well enough at some point that shi attracted other worshippers who also erected some places of worship.

Which brings things to the part where I find it an interesting part where the form and power of a god can be affected by the amount of worshippers and their belief in them. There will always be a base form, of course, like species, taurform, amounts of heads and arms but due to some very VERY zealous yet somewhat misinformed worshipping shi has ended up quite a bit longer.

Which puts us all on the timeline with one Christmas where hir new, smallish and somewhat artist-shaped worshippers decided that their long deity would make for perfect decoration for their tree. Just add more body and limbs and shi makes for a great garland to string around a tree, or trees of various sizes. And well-commercialized this decoration could be sold the world over.

Unfortunately it seems that now a whole lot of people think that shi has even more limbs to get around with... lots... LOTS more... One can do the maths with what you see, there are twice the pairs of hindlegs per pair of fore-flippers. And shi definitely seems to be going in and around hir own little arctic domain far enough to loop back into the temple bedroom again.

It's a good thing gods can ignore the limits of mere mortal physics, right?
