More epic progressive rock, from my album 'More Songs About Demons' (2011)

(Notes from the 2010 demo on FA)

This song has taken quite a while to reach a state of readiness, that it's about 11 minutes long didn't help... I still consider it just a demo, the vocals are a little squiffy in places, but it will do for now.

It follows my favourite theme of someone who goes out of their way to "Bring justice to the demon scum", only to discover that demons aren't always born with wings.

Instruments used include:

* Korg Triton

* Roland JV1010

* Roland MVS-1

* Cheetah MS6

* Hammond XM-1

* Home-built mellotron softsynth (Runs under DRDOS)

* Korg Monotron filter

* A home-made ring modulator

The song was recorded on two synchronized TSR-8 machines and mixed to 1/4" tape on my A807. The reverse reverb was done in the traditional manner, by mounting the tape upside-down so it runs backwards and dubbing to another track.
