Here's a scrapped background character from the upcoming page of Xerian. For reasons too convoluted to go into we suddenly had to replace a background character who would be a feral Vader Synth. So Merlin drew a robotic version of their dragon, Acer. Unfortunately, having coloured him in, I suddenly remembered that Acer had already cameo'ed in the comic as an organic.

Rather than have to replace the background character for the third time I've resprayed him blue for the comic. But I love how he looks as a Synth, so here he is in all his robotic glory. I am just glad Merlin got the lines drawn early since this much hassle would have been an utter disaster if I'd had to colour the comic the night before as usual.
