This was not my idea. As part of the Scotiacon photoshoot, we took a couple of shots of Medieval Daryil in various poses, including holding an axe, and also locked in the stocks.
JamesStarrunner suggested editing two of these together so it looked like Daryil was about to behead one of his avatars, which I suppose you could do if like Daryil, you are 50ft tall and interact with people via remote-controlled projections of your true self.

The photos were taken by and are not the official photoshoot ones, which is why they are at an angle, because he was standing beside the principal photographer.

Editing was done by me - don't look too closely or you'll see the lighting glitches and repeating bricks caused by me doing a quick-and-dirty welding of two images together.

As a rule I don't think you'd actually execute someone this way - you'd break the stocks. And I don't think Daryil would go through with it anyway, it would waste an avatar and all of him would feel the pain.

I will try to remember to post a best-of collection of Daryil from Scotiacon, he looked quite flash in the brown leather adventuring pants.
