Here's one of my side characters, Kamdan the demon jaguar, as drawn by . She's done a wonderful job, especially of his musculature.

Demons in the DMFA/Project Future universe tend to be chaotic and murderous, with a social pecking order based on how powerful and/or badass they are. Typically this is expressed as a body count.

Kamdan, by contrast, has twisted this around and become an adventurer of the type who usually protects weaker races from monsters such as rampaging Demons. To Kamdan's way of thinking, this is proof of his superiority in that people are looking to him to protect them because they can't do it themselves.
It also means that he can slay bandits and rack up a good body count that way - and slaying other demons grants him even more street cred as a badass.

That's how it started, anyway... gradually Kamdan went native and started to save people for the sake of doing so.

So, here he is, most likely about to send a bandit or highwayman to an early grave. Kamdan will have a leading role in a comic of his own starting later this year.
