Here's another excerpt from 'Dark Lord Rising', my loose parody of Lord of the Rings.
The is the original version of the panel, where Jones the Demon is waiting outside the 'Mental Shepherd' with a glum expression, guarding two of the bikes, while the rest of the Riders head back to base.

Unfortunately, we needed him with his helmet on, and wingless (the helmet containing enchantments to hide the wings) which meant redrawing most of him. That version is here: http://projectfuturecomic.com/darklord.php?strip=03-04

I love his dejected look, so I figured I'd post the original panel here. The lighting is also turned down a little, allowing a clearer look at the stable hand, who is totally not based on someone from Merlin's comic.

Again, the bikes are fusion-electric, so there's no exhaust or chain (the rear wheel contains an outer-rotor induction motor), and very quiet.
