Ori Reference - 2013 Version

KronoGarrett

Nothing really changes much when Ori is involved, although I decided on ventral plating instead of torso musculature and extended the dorsal plating up to his neck. I think it looks a bit better, and will probably prove easier to work with in the long run. His tail is shorter now, too. Aside from that, I'm pretty content with the design, and hopefully I'll be able to provide detail views of his head sometime next week.

The changes in build mean that Tankaa and Ori can share most cosplay elements other than shoes, simplifying convention and LARP logistics when the time comes.

I've probably called The Squee down upon myself yet again by posting reference art of my characters. Oh well. Had I made somewhat different choices six or seven years ago, I'd still have this problem in some form or another. This is what I get when it comes to dealing with the furry fandom. Not that I don't mind more asexual cuddlelust, but lately I've had to deal with increasing amounts of sleaze from an audience that seems to disregard the personal boundaries of others. What can I do, aside from more aggressive blocking? I'm faced with some unpleasant tradeoffs here.
