Emil Leidy was once the child of corporate executives on Bolton's Folly but turned away from that life of luxury to flee an arranged marriage. They arranged their own black-bagging and began a life in the shadows and sprawl as a hired gun--specifically the support gunner and muscle for a team of deniable assets. Emil blames that life decision on playing a few too many cyberpunk virch or trideo games when growing up. When getting established, they nearly died a half-dozen times, started a few rivalries, and may or may not have picked up a bit of a rap sheet. They also lived on a diet of cheap food from Six-Twelve, because it was the only thing open during "working hours."

Emil has a side hustle as a sales agent for KronoGP. Sales calls strike at the worst possible time and it's hilariously out of character for the machinegun-toting cat to be trying to sell giant inflatable robot creatures to gaming and leisure plexes. Or shooting test photos/trid to convince clients that the things are hotter than NERPS. This usually degenerates into a chase scene or other fiasco and are mildly viral on Chirper and MeFeed. On the other hand, the large packages going into and out of his place of residence do provide cover for the delivery of less harmless things.

Wow, Version 2 didn't even last a week...that's a record. Their design ended up being heavily influenced by Gromm's suit (made by Kitsune Illusions) and backed away from the extreme exaggeration of the initial version while still maintaining the less-humanlike shape preferred by my audience. Character-wise, they fill a more violent, anarchic role that Tankaa simply can't manage and Ori is too straight-laced for. I still haven't decided on their teammates yet, but I'll build that up with time.
