Saturday afternoon monster suit prepwork, with the mosasaur head propped open to dry. After I saw someone pick up the suit head while it was there, I put the sign on the suit and pulled out the progress logbook and put it out so people could have something to play with.
That canvas dropcloth was incredibly useful. While it wasn't a towel, it was used to: shelter the suit from prying eyes, transport what would otherwise be a clumsy object into and out of the convention hall without dropping it, protect the suit from the floor, protect me from the floor when donning and doffing the suit, and demarcate our patch of floor.

Yeah, it's an all-foam design. There are two zippers in the back, one that holds together the inner layers, and an outer one that holds the skin on the suit.
It's a bit of a naive design, it looks like a hatch might be better judging by more professional suits and what I've seen in the Stan Winston courses so far.

Looks like the suit has enough padding to stand by itself. Is it all entirely foam? What do you use to get in and out of it? A zipper, or Velcro, or something else? I wish I could've examined it in person to pick up some pointers.
