Just because you started out and made your name drawing something doesn't mean you still want to be linked with it after all these years. Even if people still love the end results and will throw money at you for the sake of it. (That, and there's the small issue of what seems like the frivolous consumption of strategic resources to produce something so ephemeral...)

Times change, and with them, people. There are fond memories and there are bad ones. I'm still willing to talk to some...but it just seems a bit silly and pointless in this age of limits.

The characters ended up as a bunch of expies. Amusingly, they probably exist in some form or other given the number of dragon, orca, and wolf characters I've met. I do think my wolves come out looking too reptilian, if I could find a reasonably accurate jointed model one, I'd be set.
