Another character idea I had for a Dungeons and Dragons PC. A water breath dragonborn who was once renowned for their high intellect and impressive spell craft. However, with praise he grew cocky with his master-craft and deemed to challenge his skill. He worked tirelessly to create a physical strength spell that could transform an entire army for the king of the realm. Unfortunately his experience with this spell had dire consequences. In an explosion the spell struck him, and him alone. His muscles ballooned and expanded to massive proportions. His clothing became rags as his body bulked. However, the larger his muscles grew the more his intellect waned. He now is seen as but a muscled lunk who struggles with basic verbal expression. But in a pinch his memory takes hold and he can still employ a wide range of spells that sill dazzle and awe. Explaining how is now impossible though.
