He looked unto me as the others threw me onto the ground before him. I stared into the vast darkness before me, but all I could see was a glimmer of something pointed. Even though there were only whispers of shapes before me - I could feel that hidden stare pressing down into me - keeping me from standing up. In the stillness, a soft yet stern voice broke the eerie stillness of the air:
"What am I to do but merely share this morsel before me? If I am royalty - what people would follow me if I can only feed myself? So let's leave this one to the greater beasts - who will find it a fitter meal for itself, and thus will lure such a beast into our den - and it shall feed the many thousands of us.".
