Alright here is the finished piece from my last YCH, which was won by the wonderful @TLDragon . They chose their lovely character Zielsrust who is a jackal! I really loved getting to paint all the Egyptian themed items and getting to paint a species I haven't drawn in a long time! I may or may not have enjoyed picking at the details of the scene a little too much. >.> I also tested out a new program that was really helpful for figuring out how light interacts with certain colors in different situations. The name of the program is Colour Constructor for anyone that wants to check it out. I highly recommend it to anyone that isn't as confident with light and color as they want to be. A super useful tool!
