One of my headcanons for Shadow is that at some point in the future, he'll learn to summon something like a Doom's Eye. I'd imagine it would look something like this- part Biolizard, part Black Arms. This little guy would be about as long as Shadow's arm and, though not entirely sentient, could act as a second pair of eyes and ears.
