Soldiers and service personnel come in many varieties in the Tolesian Commonwealth's Imperial and Planetary forces. Most likely, you're going to encounter the following in your travels (from left to right):

* Arctic Uniform- Not every planet is comfortable, even for the hardy Tolesians. As such, they have developed gear that allows them to survive in otherwise inhospitable places. Arctic clothing is critical for fighting on frozen ice balls to polar ice caps. This particular soldier is outfitted for a breathable world.

* Imperial Marine- Professional soldiers to the core that go through rigorous training and drilling along with cutting-edge genetic augmentations. These soldiers are screened carefully so that only the best can join. Out of a population of 150 billion Tolesians across multiple planets, only a billion are Imperial Marines. That's less than even some Earth nations by population percentage!

* Duty Uniform- Regardless of service, a utility uniform (or battle dress) provides comfort for its wearer and protection from everyday hazards on and off the base. These include, but aren't limited to, grease, light fires, and chemical exposure. Designed with multiple pockets, these provide the underlayer for all service persons' specialized uniforms.

* Hazardous Environment Engineer- Not everywhere will be safe for Tolesian biology; some planets have unbreathable atmospheres. As such, special suits have been developed that provide additional protection for the wearer. These suits aren't designed for combat but are designed to be durable, puncture, fire, and otherwise damage resistant. Usually, wearers like to leave their antenna exposed, but if the environment is too hazardous, they can cover their antenna. However, this deprives the wearer of warnings such as methane buildups and other signs of dangerous conditions.

* Militia soldier- No nation is possible without a police force, and infrastructure and the militia serve this role. Commonwealth Planetary Militia does everything from general policing to air traffic control. From planetary search and rescue to disaster relief. The closest analog to earth is they're a gendarmerie with additional powers and roles. There are three billion militia members across all planets.
