fur seems rather hard to get right it from what i've seen. it ends up looking like a noise filter was thrown over it, but uhh the actual model is quite cute. took me a second to realize the shout was. i thought he had a large nose and no mouth, probably just the angle

  I believe you. I'm using a HP true color display. I've not been too pleased with it. The hp screen looks fine but, on my laptop, it looks way too dark. A new monitor is in the mail. Once the new one arrives, I'll do another render. As for the noise. I've yet to master the Cycle's rendering engine, this may be difficult to fix. Thanks!
