Pisces dragons are the only aquatic species of dragon in Lorn. They are very long and possess a powerful tail fin that can smash in the side of a large ship.

Their throats are thick and contain specialized water sacks. Once filled, they can shoot this water out in a sharp and lethal stream. The large markings on the sides of the neck expand along with their throat as the water sacks fill. The less the spots are visible, the less chance there is of getting sprayed.

Pisces dragons have wing-like fins on their sides and connected to their forelimbs that they use to “fly” through the water with. Often, a pisces dragon will use these powerful membranes to glide short distances above the waves.
Pisces dragons generally spend their time in the water, but are capable of breathing air. Their skin, however, must be kept moist, barring them from spending long periods of time out of the water.

Pisces dragons are hardy, versatile creatures that do well in almost any type of water and temperature. They grow continuously throughout their lives and have been known to reach over 70 feet in length. The natural lifespan of a pisces dragon is unknown and there are superstitions of millennial individuals that wrap circles around undersea mountains, so great are their lengths.
