Chapter 21: The Plan is Revealed

The very next day, around noon, Vaxtus and Artemis took a bunch of minions to the front of Atmo City Hall, located in the center of the topmost disk.

"Here is where we will take over the city." Artemis said. "Yes won't we?" Vaxtus replied.

At ACIPD, the alarm came on and Orbit called Aero, Astro, and Sakura into the room. "Maisy informed me that a whole group of minions are in front of City Hall. And Vaxtus and Artemis are with them."

"Didn't I destroy Vaxtus?" Aero said.

"Yeah, but he's been rebuilt somehow. He is with Artemis, a Jetroid scientist that was exiled 60 years ago. Artemis concluded he could get an army by rebuilding Vaxtus and his minions."

"Let's go get them." Astro said.

"Be careful, you three." Orbit said.

When the three heroes arrived at City Hall, they saw Vaxtus and Artemis and a group of minions.

"Stop right there!" Sakura said.

"Oh, it's you." Artemis smirked. "You heroes are so predictable to come here, but I have more than enough minions to defeat you. Attack them!"

The three heroes then proceeded to battle the minions.

"As for you and me, Vaxtus, we will take over this city."

"Take over? You mean to destroy the city." Vaxtus said.

"What?"

"I saw your true plans while you weren't looking. You revived me and my minions just for your own gain. And you planned to utilize disruption bombs for bringing down the city to destroy it, all to get revenge on your former colleagues."

"Ok, you got me" Artemis said "But I still have plans for you."

"That's it! You are going too far!" Vaxtus fired his machine guns at Artemis, who quickly dodged the bullets. "You're going to have to chase me down!" Artemis flew away with Vaxtus following.

That was when our heroes got done battling minions. They saw Vaxtus and Artemis fly off through the city.

"Do you think we should follow them?" Astro asked.

"Well, we could ask Maisy to send in some officers to arrest these guys." Aero suggested.

"Got it. I'll tell her now." Sakura said as she called Maisy.

A half hour later, officers arrived to arrest the minions while Aero, Astro, and Sakura followed Vaxtus and Artemis.
