Trying something different with colors and brushes and shit. Not bad for a first try.
:D Oh man, this is looking really great Sunes! I just love the soft subtle look people get when they go for a more sketchy lineart.
The hair looks so good, gosh, I like the sweater too- it's a simple drawing but it'll be cool to see you experiment with more things like this!
I'd agree, but I highly doubt it'd ever happen. Plushies are tough, even with a simple design. Generally, if they're affordable, they're cheap/awfully made (which, I doubt Hussie would ever be okay with putting out). Like he'd said with the Scalemates for the Kickstarter, he was surprised to have had them be that good of quality, because it's almost preposterous that a plush mass produced would turn out so well.
On the other hand, good, independently-made plushies are really expensive. It's times like these that I wish I could pay for Homestuck commissions like this, because I can't sew for SHIT, and would love to cosplay or make stuff like this but have no resources, or dedication to learning how to make it acceptable quality. I'd totally drop a couple hundred bucks on a good-sized Tinkerbull or Davesprite plushie, though. Buuuuuuuuut it's never meant to be... /sobs
yeah I want a homestuck so bad but while i was on tumblr i found someone who makes really good pushes but I don't know if they are making anymore.
I've been thinking of making some of the troll's horns like Karkat's and Sollux's since they're small and simple enough but my class keeps me busy from doing that right now. ._.
