The sketch alone took an hour.
The game is really underrated. Since it's not much of a fan favorite, it was pretty hard to find refs. Many I found were small and crunchy. I was able to fit them all on a single canvas with no overlap, which is a first.

Is this for the game “Sonic and the Black Knight”? I played that game and enjoyed it! :)

      sword flailers in arms >:)
Both at the storybook games are great fun and just need some time to get used to. Most of what I hear about either if they somehow come up are complaints over motion controls.

        Yeah! :D

I think so, too--I thought they were more enjoyable to play than "Sonic the Hedgehog 2006", that game gave me rage-quit syndrome because of those "speed burst" sections. XD You know, I get making a Sonic game with some challenges, but don't make it beyond difficult. :/

The storybook games were both on the Wii--and the Wii was notorious for having wacky controls, due to the remote and thumb-stick. XD I imagine the company probably had to find a way to balance it for Wii controls and the potential of the pro-pad connection players could option for. I think with the Wii--you kinda get what you get. chuckle If Sega would do it--I feel like they should remake the games for the Switch, or even the other consoles like PS4/5 and the X-Box series. They did an excellent job with the revamp of "Sonic Colors"! :D

Plus given how wildly different the games can be, it's not really a surprise they they went for 2 different ways to use motion controls. I'd love to see them remade at some point. Probably with an option with to use more standard controls so the motion controls don't have to be a wall for people.

Most definitely! I feel like it would be nice to eventually see a lot of those odd and different "Sonic" games get a new chance on the Switch or other modern consoles. But Sega makes them a rarity outside of the racing games anymore. I feel like the game would be really nice on the Switch, with the potential for trying these games in a handheld form--it was a completely different experience playing the full-form console "Colors" game (not like the DS version) as a handheld version, I actually felt like my scores were higher on the levels than on the original Wii version! XD
