Aah just got another commission completed ^w^ this one was a lot of fun to do~ this ref sheet is for a user on Telegram of his character, Ivan the Loggerhead Shrike 0w0 he wanted natural coloration for his character, and that was such a nice departure of the norm for me haha most of my characters are very brightly colored ^^; this was really nice to play with uwu and it gave me the opportunity to draw some more birbs òwó
Side note: Shrikes are one of the most intense birds I've ever seen?? I looked at a lot of reference for them and on the surface, they just look like super cute lil' birb bois until you realize that they impale their prey on thorns and barbed wire?? I guess they do have the angry eyebrows so maybe it's not too surprising lol ^^; but I did love getting to draw Ivan <3 hope you guys like it~
