I'm making an animation OC for a fanfic and I was like: Hmm, I want to have a female one so I can relate more, but I don't wanna gender bend my Oc's..... What if I gender bend AshFur form Warrior Cats! He looks cool in my imagination! So this is the W.I.P of it!

You say you don't wanna gender bend your OC's. Well then just create an OC of your own that's already female. It's not that hard. I know you probably don't wanna change the W.I.P your making, but maybe you could use this idea for future reference. It might be helpful.
I mean, you basically used an already pre-existing character and changed everything about them. It may not be the same character anymore, but it still technically spawned from somebody else's work.
