The client gave me this idea and I took off with it. Commission of a stylized crested gecko dragon. This piece was a lot more work and detail that I originally intended but it was just such a cool idea I had in my head I had to go with it. In the end, I think it was worth it.
Featuring a female crested gecko (Correlophus ciliatus, formerly Rhacodactylus ciliatus) name Paprika slithering through clouds parting after a rainstorm.

Very nice, I love the stylized cloud forms especially! I'd say the extra work paid off in the result; all those little details on the gecko are great.
