This Ammonite fossil necklace is made to embody the ocean and rock that the little mollusc's world was made of. The Kingman mine nugget turquoise is commonly called "seafoam turquoise" due to the rough and bubbly texture of the turquoise, like foamy ocean breakers.

The turquoise has an awesome iron pyrite matrix in it, and the stabilized nuggets are studded with fool's gold and some even have what appear to be little chunks of quartz. The brown "koroit opal" beads are actually just host rock with no actual flash or veining - but I liked the shades of brown that complimented the greenish blue hue of the turquoise. The little ammonite fossil however does have some fire and flash in it.
