This was a huge project for me. It’s one of the largest pieces I’ve done to date, being an 18” square. This was a revisit from a previous client. I had previously done two of the dogs featured on this piece also, but they wanted a piece of all the dogs together. I think in total this took something near 40-50 hours of work if I had to guess.

Ben is in the upper left and is half Rottwieler and half Dalmatian according to a DNA test. He was their fourth dog.

Noah is in the upper right, I wasn’t told what he is that I can recall. I believe he was their third dog.

Ally is in the lower left and is half Beagle half Daschund. She is their newest arrival.

Emma is in the lower right; I don’t recall being told what he breed was. She was their second dog.

Kelly is in the center and her mixed breeds were unknown. She was their first dog and back before digital cameras were made, so I had to reference her off several small grainy over-exposed photos.

The leaves were based off sugar maples as per request and their shape taken from my Autumn Blaze in the backyard.
