While stepping into a rhythm on my rekindled path as an artist, I figured it was time to re-visit the work that I’d done when I first really felt that spark back in 2002. My days on Furcadia inspired more art than I’ve ever produced for the rest of my days as an artist - even now, while I’ve found so much inspiration in the art world again, I can’t even begin to match the muse and endless hours I spent with pencil to paper as a young teenager. I was about 14 when I made the picture of my furc character Miya on the left... now, 13 years later, I’ve re-imagined both the painting and the character, bringing Miyameriah to life.
