Faced with the seemingly impossible task of swallowing a dog more than twice his weight, Mdogo braces his hindpaws and pushes as he uses his forepaws to gradually pull himself over his meal.

From the dog's perspective it's like being a foot and having a rather too small sock pulled over you. Except socks don't suffocate you in their slimy insides and don't digest you. Both of which are in his immediate future if Mdogo succeeds in gulping him down.
