Unit 5 is a tall, thin werewolf whose specialty is collecting felons on the run. In his lightweight (for a werewolf) armor he'll dash in, snag the crook and dash back out.

Unit 5 has a remarkable control of his digestion and will sometimes swallow the felon whole so he can run off on all fours. By swallowing air as fast as he burps it up he can keep a human alive in there for close to an hour before the heat and the slowed process of digestion does too much damage.

Unless he gets badly wounded, that is. One too many bullet wounds and his metabolism will kick into overdrive to speed up his regeneration. If that happens, well, you don't want to be in there. Survival time goes from "close to an hour" to "maybe a minute" as his body seizes on this ready source of protein and calories to heal itself.

Statistically, though, it's not that dangerous a way to travel. Only two out of twenty-nine felons have so far been consumed by his metabolism. And you can really blame those on the felon's allies shooting at him.

The lesson to be learned is: don't shoot at the werewolf cop. You might get someone digested.
