Eblis was rather older than this (a teenager) when he ate his first intelligent prey, but like this conjectural drawing, his first such meal was of his own species.

Part of the reason Eblis is so unsafe to be around was that he grew up in what amounts to a fetish colony which had such good medical tech that even being eaten was just a momentary inconvenience. The second part of the reason is that he just isn't very bright and hasn't realized that he should really have stopped eating people when he left the colony.

As a result we ended up with a lumbering oaf who ineffectually hits on women (and sometimes men) and promptly eats them when he gets shot down. That's Eblis in a nutshell. 83
