I started working more with patterns over the summer, and this cute little canvas was one of those patterned creations that came from that. The canvas is 6" x 6", painted with acrylic paint with the line work done with a white Deco Paint Marker. There is a matte finish to seal it all in.

The swirl design is the most dominant part of the piece, with the small whale [seen in the second image] giving the piece its name. The background is black, with a splash of a blue/teal color across it, and flat drips running down the side.

It's perfect to hang on a wall, and I think it looks best oriented the way I have photographed it.
