I won this pressure tank on ebay last week. I've already cleaned it up and replaced the leaking main seal.
It's way bigger than I really need at 45L (10 gallon), but that leaves plenty of room for larger future projects. It's also nice that I paid less than half the price it'd have cost for one a fifth the size! Pressure pots aren't cheap in the UK.
Technically it's a paint pressure-feed pot, but with a simple bucket liner I'll be using it for pressure-casting.
This will be very useful for the claws. Currently the design requires vents to prevent bubbles, which mean leaving nasty casting marks on them and a fair bit of finishing to do on each. Pressure-casting the claws should mean less casting-marks, less bubbles, and stronger claws!
