August On Araltys

Stampy

Hello from Araltys! I've had a few of you tiny aliens from a few different star systems wondering what Araltys looked like. I'd have liked to invite you all around, but I'm not sure that'd be such a good idea, Araltys is a pretty big place! Anyway, this here's the view from my home. As you can see, my balcony gives a great view of the northern Gravlift - which is our means of escaping Araltys' gravitational pull. It launches us out of the planet at incredibly fast speeds which we use to get to really far away places in no time at all.

Oh and that's our sun dominating the sky up there; Aerylius, a class 1a Supergiant. Let's see? What units do you guys use again? Oh wow, those are tiny! Anyway as you probably know, bigger stars attract bigger planets, and Aerylius is 556,000,000 km across. That's about 3.5AU in your units! Araltys is around 2,500,000 km across if you're curious about that too!

Anyway I should stop lecturing you all! You'll have to send me photos of your planets too! I'd love to see them up close! You all live in such beautiful tiny little worlds! But anyway, I think I need to get going. I can see Erika arguing with her classmates again. Urgh, little sisters!

I've been meaning to draw the view from the surface of Araltys for quite some time, and figured colouring this was a great way of showing it off! As well as showing off August's great big fluffy tail. I also really like the concept of an entire macro planet, you can do an awful lot with it!
