So, I decided to teach myself Blender!
And the first thing I make in it? The character that absolutely nobody was asking for, Mechamaw! The reasoning behind choosing her, was that I figured I would be able to avoid a lot of the finicky weight painting involved in the rigging progress by having static parts. While this was true, it made other parts of the rigging process more challenging. Either way I'm happy with how she turned out.
This one's a test of both rendering terrains, but also depth attenuation. Just a huge megamacro Mech looking back over the landscape.
