"Ready, Kamille?"

"Oooh, am I ever," growled the Delphox, her continent-rumbling tone a mix of eager glee, seething anger, and bottled-up frustration pressing the last few nanometers of cork out of the neck of the bottle before everything came through in one violent burst.

Pamela blinked, and not much else, for a moment. "... R-Right! So, you're sure this Psyball thing is safe?"

"Safe enough," countered Kamille with a smirk. "She won't need to worry about air in there unless we forget her and leave her in orbit for a day or two. I guess she'll need something to eat and drink too, but that's for her to worry about, not us."

"Works for me." The Rattata idly tossed the purple sphere between her hands, enjoying the way it glowed and shimmered with a bright afterimage trail that lingered just a bit too long to look natural. "Y'know, as much as I enjoy my glitch powers, it's kinda neat the way you can, uh, y'know, control how your magic works. And make it do things to other people."

Chuckling, Kamille pointed out, "you seem to have gotten pretty good at controlling your own powers as well. I mean, it probably doesn't look like it to anyone watching from down on the ground, but you don't have to bother with spells or enchantments or even power reserves. You just... Do things."

"Hm. That's true. I kinda do, don't I?" Pamela glanced down at her toes, and gave them a wriggle- fissures spread around them and jetted magma out in vast waves, then healed and cooled down as if nothing had ever happened. "And I do like not having to memorize magic words or motions or anything. I have enough trouble with my coursework already!"

"I do appreciate my own ability to be more... proactive in damage prevention, of course," Kamille admitted after a brief glance at her friend's toes. Her own paws, broader and thicker, were nonetheless far less damaging. There were cracks, to be sure, and some very flat mountains, but anywhere the grey shapes of civilization touched, her impact did not. "It's just a shame for your... acquaintance, that she has neither gift."

"Oh yeah, Rocq's an absolute jerkface!" Pamela flipped the purple orb up over her head, letting it spin around several times before it fell back in her palm. "She doesn't even have to go macro, y'know. She just does it for 'fun!' I mean, if I had her powers, I just wouldn't use 'em. Even if I'd be stuck as a tinyttata, it'd just not be worth risking it! But noooo, little miss rich brat has to go around smashing other people's toys because they aren't as good as hers. Which sounds even dumber than I normally consider it, saying it out loud..."

"Oooh yes. I had noticed. I had definitely noticed." Kamille's reply was hissed through clenched fangs. "And I don't know what sort of power she uses to attempt to conceal her 'fun,' but I do hope she's learning a valuable lesson in just how far her abilities can take her against a witch of my caliber. Specifically, right into the business end of my wand."

Pamela blinked again. "... Kamille? Has anyone ever told you that you can be kinda...?"

"Hm? Kinda what?"

"... Nevermind! Anyway, let's get this ball game going. You know the rules, right?"

The Delphox sneered.

"... Okay! Then yeah, let's start. Batter up!"

Stepping back, Pamela launched a massive explosion of earth and heat into the sky, the debris reaching up as high as her ankles in some places. There was a sudden rush of further sinking as Pamela's body surged thicker, muscle inflating along her arms and thighs in one smooth sweep from core to limbs. The Rattata didn't know exact numbers for how much muscle a major league pitcher normally had, but she'd never been one to play it safe with her powers, so "plenty" would make a good starting point. She wrapped both palms around the purple sphere, flexing her arms a bit as she pushed in against it, listening to the steady hum of magical energy rising in pitch until she relaxed the pressure.

Kamille half-turned and spread her stance, toes mere miles from the shorelines of the continent she'd selected for herself. Her wand was raised and grasped with both hands, a firm grip keeping it steady as some minor reinforcement charms were activated to protect the mystic building's windows from the imminent impact.

"So we're here at the world's first-ever game of professional Rocquetteball, with our two big star players already in position!" Pamela glanced down at the sphere one last time, grinning as she saw the helpless Persian within banging futilely against the purple barrier. "Here comes the windup, so hold on to your seats, everyone- our batter is gonna be shooting for the moon!"

"Venus, actually," Kamille specified. "I have a trajectory alllllll planned out."

"... Right! I'm gonna pretend I'm not impressed by just how angry and vengeful you are right now-"

"Hey, she's the one who decided to try to flatten an entire city under my protection, all those lovely little structures reduced to mere rubble... I'm going to have to spend an entire day restoring everything! I think I've earned a little bit of righteous wrath, hm?"

Pamela shrugged. "Fair enough! I guess it does change a bit when you're actually getting paid for it. Anyway!" Rearing back, Pamela whirled her arm in an exaggerated circle several times, sending the miserable feline trapped inside bouncing against the walls repeatedly. Then, Pamela started her windup. "Okay, Kamille, here's the pitch!"

Rocquesanne sank against the far curves of the sphere as the titanic, megamassive snarl of a fluffy, busty, furious domomancer Delphox rushed towards her, filling her field of view. Today... Today was not going to go her way.

It's always lovely when someone asks for a commission, and they're able to convey an image to you extremely easily. Just a few short keywords and the entire idea, poses, background and everything popped into my head, making this quite an easy commission to draw! VDO is good at that though, it's one of many reasons I like drawing for him.

Anyway! Turns out Kamille witnessed Rocquesanne trash talking some buildings in one of Rocq's city destroying rampages. So between Pamela's crazy powered glitchyness, and Kamille's love for architecture, they've found an entertaining way to deal with such a pest as Rocq.

Kamille, Pamela, and Rocquesanne belong to   VDO
