I made this piece to fill a frame and to work with a canvas that was warped and also had a painting on it previously. To cover the painting I had to glue book pages to it (gesso did not work, the purple showed through 5 layers!) but then after doing that, it warped (cheap canvas).

So instead of throwing it away, I painted on the warped canvas and cut it out and placed it in a frame, I love using things that were previously "ruined" and giving them a second life!
