Meet Vatra, a slimeball who has a certain affinity for a delicacy found on Earth! Vatra's name means "fire" in Serbian. She has been known to hide out in the moors, clearing forest by forest of lightening bugs. She cannot fly long-distance due to her size and small wing-span, they are more decorative than anything else. She travels to Earth only a couple times a year, but makes her trip worth while, staying for months at a time. Though her species could easily combat the humans that dwell on earth, she chooses to stay hidden- sliming along the muck at the bottom on the swamps. She only comes out at night, because after all, that's when the firefly's are most active and easily detectable for her consumption. She is very mysterious when interacting with her own species, more of an observer and often introverted. When she is alone, she likes to sing, usually to her pet snail. Her snail (named Limlick) is her best friend and companion, but unfortunately, he gets space-sick and stays on Mucor while Vatra is off feasting.

Made this for the SlimeBall Halloween Contest. Didn't win but heeeey I have created my own SlimeBall and I think she's pretty neat. I had a lot of fun doing this piece.
