A bust portrait commission for Justt-K on deviantART, who asked me to do her character Abel Hargreaves. Abel is one of the characters featured in the role playing game Silver-and-Bone, so I was already loosely familiar with him and was really excited to try a few new things. I had a blast doing his curly hair, and I love his color palette. Definitely the lightest thing I've drawn in a while for sure.

I got creative liberty on this one, so I tried to go for an old-timey bust vibe. I got the idea from the inside cover of a Lovecraft anthology I'm reading right now that features Dagon worshipers all fancied up sitting for a portrait. I figure Abel sat for a family portrait once or something.
