As a solitary oceanic predator, Makara isn't really concerned about adhering to human beauty standards for their own sake. She still prefers to keep a trim figure though, because it makes it a lot harder to strike terror into the hearts of seafarers when they respond to her appearance with smirking comments like "Thar she grows!" and "Avast behind!"

Even so, it looks like she's been skimping on the water aerobics lately.
