Honestly, I can't bring anything new to the table: Spider-Man 2 made the best possible Doc Ock tentacles/mech arms. There's no real point for me to try to reinvent the wheel. Even so, I like how this turned out.
Thank you! Hohoho I recall I had conflicted feelings for him as a kid when I watched Spider-Man the Animated Series (well, it doesn't hold up too well for me: http://nevertoomanyspiders.tumblr.com/tagged/spoon%20watches%20spider%20man%20the%20animated%20series). AND BOY I loved him in Spider-Man 2, just had to buy the DVD recently since I didn't own it. Look at my awkward ramblings back when I first saw it: http://becdecorbin.tumblr.com/post/114964930858/hhhhahahaha-after-following-a-doc-ock-fan-i-just
BUT YEAH. I dunno why I like him so much. Probably in part because he's kind of this dorky (sometimes chubby) guy in a dorky hairstyle and then he just has these fucking powerful extra appendages that enhance his EVERYTHING, including his silhouette, which makes him particularly menacing. His mech arms are a major part of his appeal, besides the aesthetic of the silly hair and goggles/shades.
Gosh I could ramble about this.

why am I not even remotely surprised that you'd be into Doc Ock, of all possible Spidey villains?
(Love this series of Ock portrayals, btw......)
